Join us to learn about Restorative Practices and how they help our school's culture and students thrive!

November 12, 2025 | 6:00PM - 7:30PM
Hosmer School

Margaret Kiwanuka, our District Restorative Practice Specialist, will facilitate a conversation on Restorative Circles, which is all about
building relationships and a positive community.

Did you know your student may already be using these practices?
Circles are used so that students can share their voice, express their feelings, and engage in dialogue to "make things right" when harm has occurred. This event will give you the tools and understanding to support this important work at home.
Why attend?
  • Build stronger relationships: Discover strategies for fostering positive communication and resolving conflict. Learn the core principles and terms.
  • Reinforce school culture: Help us create a consistent, supportive environment where every student feels a sense of belonging and responsibility. The presentation will provide parents with an opportunity to participate in a circle and gain an understanding of what happens in Circles.

    Partnering with Caregivers:
We believe that students are more likely to make positive changes when we all work together with them at school and at home.
Please note:
For your convenience, we will have supervised High School students providing child care for your student(s) while you attend the presentation.
