Watertown Talks Equity

Watertown Talks Equity
Posted on 10/23/2019
The Watertown Anti-bias Coalition, comprised of students, staff, parents, and community members, stands together to promote equity and inclusion through transformative conversations, education, and activism.

Watertown Public Schools is working with Watertown community members who are part of the Anti-Bias Coalition (ABC) to offer an evening exploring equity including a community dinner, speaker and small group discussion. ABC wants to talk as a community about ways to increase equal opportunities for all Watertown residents.

We will learn from Dr. Darnisa Amante, an educational & racial equity strategist from Harvard University about equity across differences. Equity is defined as the quality of being fair and impartial.
