We might not be all in the building together, but school is in full swing! Students are beginning to fall into a sense of routine and community and the academic work is ramping up. We acknowledge and thank you for your support of students as we have gotten up and running. This has been no small feat for any of us - you included! For most children, now is a good time to begin encouraging greater independence by setting them up to work in space away from you or by encouraging them to ask their teacher for help before asking someone at home. Thank you in advance for working with us as we help children build the skills of independence and self-advocacy.
Morning Announcements are Back!
Now that things are more fully up and running, I will again begin doing Morning Announcements via Zoom each day at 8am. This is entirely optional and I invite you and your children to join me and Mrs. Fitzpatrick in getting each day started! During the morning announcements, we will celebrate community birthdays, observe the Hosmer construction, and begin each day with the Paws Promise. Our weekly schedule and the Zoom links are included below:
