Aaron Gill, Grade 5 Teacher
I’m honored and thrilled to be joining The Hosmer community as a fifth-grade teacher this fall. (You may recognize me as I was a Building-Based Sub last spring.)
My teaching career began seven years ago in Durham, North Carolina. Upon receiving a master’s in teaching from NC State University, I had the opportunity to spend two years teaching third grade and four years teaching fifth grade. During this time, I developed an immense passion for teaching and promoting joyful practices in the classroom.
My passion for teaching and public education extends beyond the classroom. I’ve served as a mentor to beginning teachers in the district, as well as to graduate student teachers from Duke and UNC. This fall, I’ll be pursuing an M.Ed. in Special Education at Boston College. I always strive to grow as an individual and improve the community I live in.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy walking my dogs, biking, hiking, and baking. I’ve really enjoyed my first few months in Watertown and I look forward to sharing my love for teaching with my students, colleagues, and community!

Ms. Briana Hogan, Full-Year LTS Grade 5
Hi everyone! My name is Briana Hogan and I’ll be joining the 5th grade team at Hosmer this year! I’ve spent the last two years teaching in Watertown at Lowell Elementary and I cannot wait to join the Hosmer community! I grew up in Newton and now reside in Waltham. I completed my bachelor’s at Umass Amherst in 2017. I then went on to complete my master’s in education at Merrimack College in 2020. I love teaching math and making learning fun! In my free time, I am also a high school cheerleading coach at Winthrop High School. Before that, I traveled the country coaching all-star cheerleading and attended several world championships with my teams. I enjoy spending summers with my family in York Beach, Maine. I am a big football fan and love supporting the Patriots! I can’t wait for the school year to get started! I’m looking forward to becoming a Hosmer Husky!

Ms. Michelle Kith, Kindergarten Teacher
My name is Ms. Michelle Kith and I will be teaching Kindergarten at Hosmer this year! I have taught Kindergarten to 2nd grade. My passion is having meaningful daily interactions with children. They bring me so much joy! I am really excited to work with you all this year.
I was born and raised in San Francisco, California. In 2012, I decided to go on an adventure and move out of state. I haven’t left Massachusetts since. I really love it here! I enjoy traveling, cooking, photography, and art. My love tank is full when I spend time laughing with my students, friends and family. I can’t wait to hear all about your summer!

Mrs. Adi Wollny, Grade 1 Teacher
Hi there! My name is Adi (pronounced like "80") Wollny and I am thrilled to be joining the Hosmer team as a first grade teacher. I grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia and attended Virginia Tech where I received my bachelor's and master's degree in Education. I taught second grade in Fairfax County Public Schools for the past five years in Herndon, VA. I recently got married in June and my husband and I moved up to Massachusetts in July. We already love it here and so does our hound dog, Fred! In my free time I enjoy reading, going to the beach, cooking, going on runs with Fred, drinking iced coffee, and hiking. I can't wait to meet all of you very soon!
