We are halfway through the school year! Can you believe it? Grades 3-5 celebrated with some fraction-related activities. Students were invited to represent fractions in creative ways!
Third graders participated in a variety of stations reviewing and previewing concepts related to halves - telling time to the half-hour, measuring classroom items to the nearest half-inch, finding doubles and halves using multiplication, division and arrays, and counting coins to see if various amounts were worth more or less than a half-dollar.
