Glitteracy Week: Scatter Joy through Storytelling!

Hosmer Literacy Week is scheduled for November 16th-20th. Our theme this year is "Glitteracy Week: Scatter Joy through Storytelling!" We are so excited to celebrate many forms of storytelling, including books, art, theater, and more! 

Please join us at Literacy Night on Thursday, November 19th (6:00-7:30pm). This evening will feature favorites such as BINGO for Books, read alouds in many languages, and a craft. Select Hosmer Huskies will also sparkle and shine as they share short presentations. You won't want to miss it! 

We are also thrilled to welcome author/illustrator Jef Czekaj, whose illustrations appear in one of our 4th Grade core texts, The Circulatory Story, as well as 2nd Grade's Quest to Digest. Hosmer students will enjoy a read aloud, learn about his artistic process, and enjoy a guided art activity.
